Well here are some of our pictures of us skating.
Mom chickened out and wouldn't skate, Sonia refused from the beginning, said she had no insurance for when she broke her leg, so it was Me and the boys and Josh and Ana. We had fun but it was very hard on the ankles and I was very scared of falling. Josh went my first run with me and then Josh and Ana, I felt like a kid or very old lady I couldn't decide which, Josh says I looked like an old lady. haha
Dallas caught on very quickly and was soon zooming around the rink. Dakota took his time getting used to it all but was soon going strong, I am not sure how he stayed up as much as he did, which wasn't too much, but his feet seemed to just go all directions continuously. He and Dallas had a blast though and are begging to go back.
Ana said she had only been once but she was pretty good and was racing around the rink like a pro along with Josh too. And of course there was the old lady (me) haha I only fell once and my mom said it was a graceful fall, if that is possible. lol I guess that means I didn't go spread eagle, but Coda fell in front of me and rather than dive over him I kind of just went to one knee which was quite cold. So anyways that was our night of fun.

i haven't been ice skating in soo long! it's just like roller skating for me... i just watch for those few that like to do tricks and spin around cuz when i went in like 6th grade someone did that and ended up kicking some girl in the face...
UGH, I can roller blade, well I used to could when I was about 30 pounds lighter and 12 years younger. haha but ice skating is harder, specially when it is slushy in spots and then there are rough spots. I went ice skating in a mall in Portland once and that was way easier than this rink.
