Thank You Nana!!!!!

Everyone, say hello to Oscar.
Oscar is our faithful pet, he loves us. LOL Well he is probably scared of me actually. lol especially when he sees me coming with that net. haha
Well I think if he could talk he would want to say thanks to Nana for saving his life not once but twice.
So I will share the story.
2 weeks ago Oscar had a nice little round glass fish bowl that had been his home for all of his life in our family which would probably amount to about a year and a half. Well his nonpetperson mom (that would be me) decided to give his bowl a its weekly cleaning. Oscar is a very docile fish even though he is a Betta fish which are supposedly fighting fish Oscar is either old or he is just of a calm disposition but when it is time to clean his bowl he gets quite agitated. Well we have a little net that I scoop him out of his bowl to another temporary bowl while cleaning his fish bowl. So I do that as usual, clean his bowl out with some nice hot water and stupid me right away puts in some nice luke warm water in straight after that, well we all know you are not supposed to do that but I did and got it all filled and put Oscar back in his nice clean bowl and set it gently on the counter and Kaboosh a hole shoots out of the bowl and water gushes everywhere and I frantically get the little net to scoop him out and put him in a diff bowl and so now we have no fish bowl so I get him a nice big tall tuperware container to live in until I can get a new bowl. Bad part is that you can not see through it.
So this last week I ask mom to take care of him while I am gone, so she goes over there and says she thought he was dead, he was just lying there and so she goes home and does some online searching in concern for Oscar and finds out you are not supposed to put fish in plastic as they can get plastic poison and besides he didn't like it that he couldn't see so she rushes back to my house and finds a flower vase and puts him in there and so by the time I got back home he was feeling much better and not looking quite so dead. So when I got home on Saturday I had bought him a nice new big bowl and so was going to put him in his new home, mom was here, well my net wouldn't fit down into the flower vase and I was not about to stick my hand it there and get him so I thought I will just pour him into the net, well he got scared and jumped out and landed on the rubber of the garbage disposal drain, and I yell "mom hurry you have to come get Oscar, he fell down the drain" so she runs over to the rescue and scoops him up as he is just calmly lying on the rubber there but he jumps out of her hand too, poor Oscar but she finally gets the poor little guy and gets him in his new home and I have to say he is quite the happy fish now.
So sorry my story was so long. lol
Oh and later everyone asks what I would have done if mom wouldn't have been here. All that I will say is that I for sure would not have picked him up. UGH! So good thing Nana was here to save him else he would have been sushi. :(
