Mattocks Family News

Well another day has passed.

It was pretty busy and I got alot accomplished.
Today was my errand day.

I now live out in the boon docks and so I told my mom I will just have to make a once a week town day because gas is just too expensive to be driving all that way much. haha

So, got up, ready for school, off to school, drop the kids off and off to Reno to get some birthday presents that Travis had put on hold when he was home then to the bank, the cleaners (boy did that make a dent in the bank) then to Costco to order Dallas' glasses and then I got the phone call.
See I had made a nice little goal, Travis is gone for a month and so I am going to be frugal and not eat out but then temptation knocked and said Hey want to go to Chili's? Well how could I refuse, I love Chili's, well I would have said that about most any restaurant I'm sure but that's beside the fact. So of course I want to go. So I run home, unload the car go grab Coda from school and go meet my mom at Chili's then it is time for Win-Co. Always better to go grocery shopping on a full stomach, I get the job done much faster and cheaper that way. haha
So then home to unload and off to get Dallas from school.

Tonight was an Ice Cream social at school and the boys were just dying to go. Well if you know me very well you would know, school functions are really not my cup of tea, but being the nice mom I am I put my feelings aside and took the boys, pre-dinner mind you,(totally ruined their dinner) to the ice cream social. they showed me around and had great fun and I followed looking I'm sure like the scared mom, afraid someone was going to talk to me or something. haha, well maybe not quite that bad. It all looked like great fun being a kid and in school.

Then mom came over and I fixed us all dinner and she stayed for awhile and we hung out with her texting Ana and me texting Sonia and us visiting in between. haha

Josh and Ana are off to stay with my Dad and Maw-Maw and seeing all the relatives and getting all moisturized. haha
If the boys had been out of school I probably would have went too but alas they were not so we are home with mom who couldn't go either since Dad is coming home on Friday and so that would have been kind of weird, him here and her there. haha He could have come and stayed with me and I would have fixed him dinner like I do my mom. lol

Travis is doing well, I think. LOL Working long hours, leaves by 6am and then gets off work at 7:30pm and not to his house where he is rooming until about 8:30pm since it is a bit of a drive to where he is staying so he is pretty wore out I'm sure

I think if it doesn't warm up soon I am going to move to Aruba. I am so tired of being cold it's not even funny
