What a wonderful day!

Today got up, took the kids to school then ran to get some gas since I had been on empty for like 2 days. Then I ran home and did my hair and over to Wal-Mart.
I am so mad! I found these soap dispensers there the other day, 2 of them, perfect color for in my bathroom and they were on clearance for only $1.50. LOL I know I am cheap but really they are not that bad, nothing fancy but not plastic or anything so anyways I get home, fill them both with soap and one of them doesn't work, I worked on it and tried to get it to work and nope it is dumb. So today I go to get another cuz they had more but noooo they just had to sell out and no more. Good thing it was only $1.50, stupid thing.
So anyways back to my day.
So go to Wal-Mart and I redid the boys bathroom in a different color now that we have moved (red,tan,brown,white. you can look at my pics of house and see) and so the other day I bought some towels for in there, (red,and tan) they had a bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth set for $4 so I bought 4 sets, so today I go back and see them and I am like, you know, I should buy a couple more, that is pretty cheap so I grab 2 more and get up to the counter and pay and they rang up as only $2.50. My Word! makes me irritated after I spent $4 the other day. I wish they had the color of my bathroom so I could buy me some too but of course they don't.
So anyways got some lunch stuff for Dallas which is what I went there for in the first place and of course got side tracked as I always do. Go to spend $20 and end up spending way more. So by then I am tired of being out, I was having a headache and feeling tired so I went to Sonic to get me some sweet tea to revive me but it just gave me the jitters and made me feel like I was on speed or something. Guess that is what comes of drinking such sweetness on an empty stomach but it got me going so off I go home and clean the house.
Walked to the school and picked up Coda.
Then Josh and Ana came over, then I walked to get Dallas and then Ana fixed Chicken Cordon Blue or whatever its called, and I fixed mashed potatoes and corn and we popped some biscuits in the oven that I burnt the bottoms of. Goes to show what a wonderful cook I am. I am still trying to get used to my oven which is gas. I am used to a gas stove but never had a gas oven and it cooks alot different than an electric one. But I probably would have burnt them anyways. So we ate the tops and that was good. lol
Oh and while we were cooking the ice cream man came by, you know the old timey one that has the cool music and goes through neighborhoods. so we all ran out and I bought everyone an ice cream bar. Found out he comes through our neighborhood every Tuesday night and on Saturday's so the boys are just syked about that. Probably could have bought 4 gallons for what I paid for 6 bars. Terrible! But it was fun anyways
So we ate dinner and by then it is 7 but we had said we were going walking after dinner so we didn't let the dark deter us and off we went. We have nice walking paths by my house so we walked for about an hour then came back home and plopped on the couch and talked for awhile then everybody left.
And so now the boys are in bed and I am all by my lonesome and so I guess I should go to bed to since tomorrow is another day and I'm sure there will be stuff to do and then of course church tomorrow night.
