What a Day!!!!!

Up at 5am to get my honey to the airport. :(

Then we were back home by 6am and back in bed for a little nap before school. haha then up at 7:40am because I did not look in Coda's backpack until Sunday night and bad, bad, bad. He needed this picture project done and turned in by this morning. He is star student and so he got to bring home the class mascot "Champ the Bear" he was to take pictures of what someone would see happen on a weekend with Dakota and do a little report and fill out a questionnaire plus send in pictures of him at different ages in his life. So I said, no big deal, we will just get up a little early, put some pictures on my jump drive and run to the Wal-Mart Kodak kiosk. So we were up and running. Got to Wal-Mart in record time, run to the kiosk in the back of the store and screech to a halt in front of it and find that it is not turned on until 9am. School starts at 9am!!!! Oh! but mom remembers seeing a Kodak kiosk at Save Mart over by the school, so we are off again, only to find that screen blank also. Well then, so much for that idea. So we get some lunch-ables for lunch and a donut for breakfast and go to the check out line. "When does your Kodak kiosk get turned on" she says, hold on and she will find out. Another lady comes over and says oh! I can turn it on for you now if you want. It will take about 5 minutes to load. Well we have 15 minutes till school starts so, Whew! you are the best. So we stand and wait for it to load. It is loaded and I look and realize it takes only memory cards and Cd's, not jump drives.

So we are off and running with 5 minutes till the bell rings. Pull into the school lot as the bell ring and the boys are running to class. I tell Coda to tell his teacher I will have everything in class by 10am.

So I jet home, Christi is in the driveway waiting. Explain things, buckle Ty into my truck and we are off again to Wal-Mart. Run in Wal-Mart, get the pictures printed and finally make it back to the school, glue everything in place, take it in and finally breathe a sigh and go home.

So I can finally sit down. Tyler and I go out back and he eats his breakfast at the patio table while I eat some left over Genghis Grill. I know, you are probably thinking that doesn't sound good at 10am in the morning, but after the morning I had I was feeling like it was 1pm and I was ready for lunch.

So that was my morning.

The rest of the day was pretty much uneventful with the usual of getting Coda, doing lunch for him and Ty, putting them down for a nap. Buying a plane ticket for Travis for his next visit home then off to get Dallas, clean the truck out.

And now the boys are ready for bed and the day is finally done, I wondered if it would ever end!

And it was all so hectic for this child. Back then I couldn't have imagined it. :) Kids just grow up too fast!
