Mattocks Family News

Well, not much going on this day.

Took the boys to the library to get some new books then stopped at Save Mart on the way home to get a couple things to make some potato salad. Got that started.

Finally got my lawn problem fixed. Complained to my property manager because the lawn wasn't being mowed often enough and weeds were not being taken care of. I have watched and a few of our neighbors hire thier lawn maintenance like mine is and a few do it on thier own but either way they all have just perfect yards and so mine must stay up to par at least so after complaining that got them out here to get the lawn mowed at least but didn't take care of the other problems so I was at him again and now it is all cool. The lawn people were here today and he came to the door and said here was his name and phone number, if I have anything that is not being done to my satisfaction to just give him a call, if I have company coming in and want the lawn freshly mowed, call and was there anything else that I would like done, so I asked him could he prune all the bushes so they looked neater so he was right on that. So awesome. lol

So nothing else on the agenda for the day. I ran out of laundry detergent but I don't feel like going back to town so I will just wait till tomorrow or something or later tonight if I feel like it.

Just sent the boys to their bed to read books or take a nap, their choice. Just thought, it doesn't hurt to have some quiet time in the day for resting and being quiet. So they frowned about it but are going. :)

So I guess that means I can go get my book too. :)

Our library decided that they want to charge us if we are late bringing our books back now and so we have 21 days to read what we get. So that means with what I got today I have to read 2 books per week but that doesn't count the 2 I already have that are due on the 14th. haha And our stupid library decides that they want to be closed on the weekend so now they are closed on Friday and Saturday and close at like 5 on the other days. I guess if I worked there I might think it was cool.
