My day

Today a slept in a little. Didn't go to bed last night till almost 2am. I was reading a really good book and finally just had to make myself go to sleep. So we all got up and cleaned up the house, ate a little before heading off for our day.
Had to stop at the dry cleaners first. They make me so mad! I think I might change cleaners. I had brought in 2 shirts of mine that they had messed up. One of them they laundered instead of dry cleaned I guess because it is shrunk. The other had a tie that goes through the neck line and they broke the tie and decided to hide it and just tie a knot in it and push it up into the neck line. Well so I went to pick these things up and of course they wouldn't do anything. I do like going there cuz to launder Travis dress shirts only cost $1.50 each so I think I might find somewhere else for the dry clean stuff. I am just so mad. And they have this girl in there who doesn't know a thing and just acts like she is brainless.
So then we head over to Wal-Mart for some lunch stuff for the boys for next week and a few other things I need. Now what possessed me to go to Wal-Mart on a Saturday I will never know. As soon as I pulled in I knew I didn't want to be there. But I had already put it off all week and so there was no longer a choice. The boys Principal says all children riding thier bike to school is required to wear a helmet. Well my children have never worn a helmet in their life. Good Grief. But anyways we had to buy helmets which, Yes I know is much safer and all that. Well I was thinking $10 bucks, HA think more like $25 bucks. Yiksers! Luckily I found 1 for Coda that was only $15 and 1 for Dallas that was $20 that they actually liked. They are sooooo picky. So 2 and a half hours later and a few hundred bucks later we can finally leave. We have to rush like crazy because today it is over 100 degrees out and my A/C in my truck doesn't work properly and our food was melting so we were off and running.
I had some library books that needed to go back so we ran through the library drive through since they decided they need to be closed on Saturdays. How dumb is that.
Finally got home and got all the groceries in the house. The boys are such a big help. They helped unload, put away and then baggy up thier snacks for next week. I made some macaroni salad and some potato salad.
And now I am finally able to sit down. My feet are killing me and I am ready to do nothing the rest of the evening. :)
