Nothing going on here in the great city of Yelm.....

Well we had a nice weekend.

Church, church, church just a little bit of church. :))

It was great!

Bro. Alvear (sp?) preached the conference services and he did a totally awesome job. Friday night we unfortunately had to sit in the back and we got there over an hour early. UGH!But it was a good service, Uncle Glennith invited us out to Spiffy's where all the preachers were going and Tim invited us to Denny's but we were tired and had to drive all the way back to Yelm so we just grabbed some drive thru. Dallas got to spend the night with Logan that night and was just absolutely thrilled. It is so funny how kids are. We pulled up Friday night and Dallas and Logan hooked up as soon as they saw each other and were inseparable until Saturday night when we had to leave. And then I saw Coda and Colby hanging out alot and they were both little little when we moved but I guess just being the same age they just got together and played every chance they got just like they had always known each other. Oh if I could only be like my children, I see people I've known all my life and can't hardly say hello for the fear inside. UGH! I hate it!

So anyways, then on Saturday we got there an hour and a half early and got lucky and got a seat on the 3rd row which was great. Bro Alvear just really out did himself. So after church there was a big BBQ on the grounds and we were able to visit with Micheal and Amy Luke for a good while. They are just the funnest. After that later that evening we went over to Penny playground for Savannah's birthday party and mostly visited with John while we were there. Then we went up to Olympia to visit Tracy in the hospital for a bit and then finally made it back to Yelm after a very long day.

Then it was Sunday. Wow, I really love the 10:30am start time :)) Would be even nicer if we were staying closer. haha but it takes about a half hour to get to church so we have to leave here by 9:30am because that is one church you do not want to ever be late for prayer, everyone I think tries to get there first because they have very much outgrown their building and you do not want to sit in the back, trust me. And then plus once you get there you have to join the throng of people circling the church praying and so here you are, your purse on your shoulder walking around the church amidst people praying and you looking for a place to sit. Very embarrassing!

Not very many people pray at their bench, everyone circles and there are so many you just don't ever try to go against the tide, I saw a lady do it once, I decided I wouldn't ever try it. LOL

So anyways, Sunday we decided to stay in Tacoma for the day rather than come back to Yelm for an afternoon service so we went to lunch then to the mall and then back to church.
Sunday night was just an awesome service. We bout had church in the pre service prayer, it was that good. But then it just kind of slowly flowed into service and I can say we had a service where we did it all. :) We started on our knees, ended up in the chandeliers came back down for some testimonies and then some great expounding of the Word and then about 3 people coming really close to getting the Holy-Ghost which reminds me I forgot to tell you that Sunday morning 2 got the Holy-Ghost.

Bro Stewart was there preaching both services. Sunday night Bro Les Murphy showed up and then a little later in the service Bro Glenn Burgess showed up so we just had a grand ole time and it was cool to see the preachers all together and having a surprise visit.

So then Yesterday I went to Grandma's and had a wonderful relaxing day of no shopping (mom) just hanging out, playing scrabble and visiting and of course too much eating. Then came back to Yelm and just hung out, Jeff and Trena came over and we all just sat around the kitchen table visiting.

Today Cindy headed off with 6 of the grandchildren to the Great Wolf Lodge for some indoor water park fun. So that left Grandma Jackie and I to ourselves for 3 games of Scrabble. I won 2 of the games. I need to buy that game so that I can play at home. Course who would play with me I wonder. Hmmmm...Sonia????Mom????LOL

Tonight we met Paw-Paw who must have had a prayer meeting cuz he was in a good mood. Maw-Maw and Dad for some dinner over in McKenna at the Bunk-House. Came back here and Jeff and Trena showed up a little later and we visited for a bit, then Travis went to bed and soon everyone left and Grandma Jackie went to bed and now here I am and finished with my book I think for now. LOL

So all my posts have been boring I know, not a single picture but I don't even know for sure where my camera is and just haven't felt in the picture mood I suppose, nothing to take pictures of unless you wanted pictures of people visiting, or eating. We have sure done alot of that. Good times. I love to eat and have gained 20 lbs I think. Major dieting will be going on when I get home.
