Well looks like I am slacking in my updates and now I am going to have to type double time. Haha

This past weekend Travis came home and we had an absolutely wonderful time.
He got in Friday night and we went and met Josh, Ana and Chito at Applebees and had dinner. Then we stopped off at Scolari's on the way home and got stuff for dinner Sunday. Thinking ahead. ;)
Early Saturday morning, we were up and getting ready for church. We were all quite excited and looking forward to it. Bro Green had a fellowship meeting with Bro Brown preaching. Bro Green is in Anderson, Ca which is about 3 hours away. So with service starting at 1pm and us wanting to get a good seat we were all ready to go by 8:30am. Got gas and then up to moms to get Josh, Ana and Chito. Had to make a stop at Jack in the Box for some breakfast since lunch was going to be a long ways away. Made it up there in record time and got a perfect seat right on the 3rd row. And what a service! It was way awesome. Chito got the HolyGhost and we were soooo thrilled and excited over that. After service they headed out and Travis and I stayed with Pastor and ate with the ministers and had a nice lunch and visit with Bro Cowan, Bro Brown, Pastor and Bro Elder Murphy all at our table.
The boys of course being great friends with the Cowan boys were in their element and how I envied them their personableness, just the ease in which they are able to have a good time and not know a stranger, new kid around? who cares, lets include him and make friends. Me, new people? YIKES! Help, Travis, hide me! Yes, strange huh. I absolutely despise it and vow that I will not be this way my entire life. But as much as I am terrified someone will actually talk to me and I just might have to open my mouth I do adore going to the services and fellowshipping with the ministers and wives, or observing should I say? And envying their camaraderie. But then, to envy is a sin so I better get over it and just somehow make myself into a new person. HA...So yeah, I will do better at WCC. Ummmm, I hope. And Pray

So anyways we stayed there till a little after 6 and then headed home. Had some guy try to run us over, about ran over 2 deer but finally made it home safe and sound.

Then it was Sunday and we were off to church again. Bro Stewart is here in revival with us and he is just phenomenal.
After church we went home and Travis BBQ-ed a Tri Tip and some corn on the cob, and tried out this new recipe of grilling new potato's in foil with butter and garlic. They were pretty tasty too. Ana made mashed potato's and green beans and we had a very yummy dinner.
After that we visited for awhile then they went home and Travis and I played Sequence with the boys and then it was time to go to the airport. His plane was delayed so we were able to have a bit more time together. I was able to hold myself together this time at least.
After church the Jr Youth had a cake walk and I helped by collecting money, my favorite thing to do, lol even if I didn't get to keep any. haha

Monday, Tuesday and tonight we had church and every night was better and better. I just can't wait till Sunday now.

I have been reading about David and how he had to run from Saul for the longest time. I've read the story before of course but this time I guess it has just come to life for me and I haven't been able to put it down. You know, the first place he ran was to the temple. And you know what was there? The sword of Goliath. I don't know how long it had been from the time he had killed Goliath to the time that he was having to run from Saul but they had kept that sword, a token of a past victory. And then he had asked for bread and the priest said he had no common bread but he had the shewbread I think it was called, holy bread. I have wondered, that must have meant something. And then another thing that jumped out at me was that he took refuge in the land of the philistines. The ones that he had killed thier king so long ago, or however long ago it had been and yet they accepted him.
I probably am not making a bit of sense so I better hush.

Well I probably have shared enough for now.
Remember God is great. He still answers prayers. And no matter how far you may go, or stray, he will be there back where you left him, waiting for you.
