Well, I am back from WCC
It was awesome as usual
Had a great time
Got to hug Bro and Sis Myers, haven't seen them in forever and was so good to see and talk to them.
Sat with Rick and Kayla at the ministers dinner
Spent some time with Uncle Billy and Aunt Helen
Made it to every service
Got to see Bro and Sis Luke and talk to them
Samantha and Jesse
Lots of people that we don't see all the time.
Met and visited with a Pastor in Colorado, his name was Bro Burgess but he said he was no relation that he knew of although he was from LA.

Got home Saturday evening about 4pm
Got up this morning and went to church, Travis preached and then we went out with Pastor and family. After that ran home real fast, grabbed all Travis clothes and dropped him off at the airport, by then it was about 4:30 so just went to the church since there was no time to go home.
Renae and I sang tonight and Sammy led service. He did a really good job.

The rest of this year is crazy crazy crazy!
Tomorrow night we start parade practice
We have a float in the parade every year
The parade is the 5th so we have practice most nights
Friday night is Tara's baby shower. She is having a boy, we can definitely use more of them since we have plenty of girls I think and Sis Teresa is having a girl though about the same time so the boys will still be out numbered, always I'm sure.
Then next week is Thanksgiving. Travis will be home Wednesday night. We only have to be apart 10 days this time, I am so happy for that.
Then that Sunday after Thanksgiving we have just 1 service and a potluck after, that will be great fun and that night Travis doesn't have to fly out till 9:30pm. He doesn't really care for that because that puts him getting back to his Grandma's very late and makes for a tired Monday.

He told me tonight that after he got to his Grandma's she said that it may flood there and so is worried for him that he could get stuck at her house and not be able to make it to work.
Wow, that is so hard to imagine when one is in such a dry place. It's been a few weeks since it has rained here although it is very cold and SOME people or persons in our church think it is still summer or they are having hot flashes and freeze the rest of us normal folk out by turning on the air and here it is 40 degrees outside and we go to church and its about 57 inside I think. I thought tonight my nose was going to get frostbite and about half the people were all bundled up in what they could find to get warm and the other half are fanning themselves. There is an outlet close by my pew and I have been thinking of bringing me a small heater just to put next to me so I can stay warm. LOL or maybe I will start carrying a blanket and socks. But then everyone will want to sit by me to share.
Well enough of that I guess, I just can't wait till summer gets here so I can be warm again, I think the only time I am warm is when I am sleeping. ;)
