Today me and the kids just spent the day together. I had sold something on ebay so had to get that to the post office before noon so we were out and about this morning. I thought our post office was open on Saturday's but I get there and find out that they are not but that there is a post office in Scolari's that is. So we head back over to Scolari's and mail that.
Then we went and got an oil change. While we were there, there was some people there doing windshield repairs. I have a chip in my windshield that I have been saying, "man I really need to get that repaired before it ends up like Travis windshield" But I haven't done it. So they asked did I want to do it, that my insurance would cover it and I wouldn't have to pay anything and that it wouldn't effect my insurance. I was sceptical but he said that I would be the one to talk to them so I would know for sure. So I talk to my insurance and sure enough that was the case. So I went ahead and had them take care of that.
While I was at Scolari's some soccer girls were selling these coupon books. So I looked through it and it was really good so I couldn't pass it up and had to buy one. haha But you know how coupon books go, typically you buy one like for example that entertainment book and there are a few in there that you will use but there are so many more that you will never use. Well this one had more that I would use than that I wouldn't so I figured it was worth it.
So then I had to take something back to Wal-Mart and the boys really needed some new shoes and I typically don't buy shoes from Wal-Mart for them but today we did. I didn't feel like spending a bunch of money on shoes so I figured why not buy the disposable kind. Because thats what Wal-Mart shoes are, they don't last hardly any time at all. I feel like my kids go through more shoes than any kid I ever knew. Most of the time they wear them out in no time or other times like Dallas last pair they grow out of in no time. The last pair Dallas was wearing before his Maw-Maw got him some romeo's they had a hole where his big toe was and a hole in the bottom of the shoe. Well I don't pay much attention to that and he never told me until one day he walked home in the rain and I guess he finally decided he was tired of getting wet feet since he finally told me that his feet were soaked because he had holes in them. They were a favorite pair so I guess thats why he didn't tell me sooner.
So for Christmas Maw-Maw Cindy got them each a pair of romeo's, and they have been wearing them. They are not ideal for P.E. and friday jogging though so today we took care of that.
So after Wal-Mart, no, actually it was before Wal-Mart, we went over to taco bell. We like them. They are cheap and yummy. We ate there last night and then again for lunch today. haha We were going to go to Quizno's but then I decided I would spend a whole lot less at Taco Bell.
Josh and Ana had called early this morning and wanted to do Mexican Taco's for dinner around 6. I was to get dessert so I stopped back at Scolari's since they have the best CheeseCake and got one of those.
I was then going to go to Papa Murphy's and get a pizza for lunch tomorrow, they have a large for 6.99 so thought that would be a nice cheap lunch for us but Josh called and said they are fixing a roast tomorrow and we could come so we decided to do that instead. I may go and get that pizza anyways for Monday night or something since the last day is tomorrow as its the heart pizza for valentines day.
Monday is no school so that might be a good idea for lunch.
I have been so bad on my diet, cheating way too much so I have said that Monday I am back to being good. (I hope) It was going to be today but then Josh and Ana called and were the tempters of today and I gave in. And again tomorrow. :P
So Josh and Ana fixed tacos and homemade salsa. It was very yum. The boys and I Americanize it by putting cheese on them. Haha
Then Josh and the boys had pillow fights for the rest of the evening until they went home.
I guess all that wore Coda out because at 10:27 Coda came to me and said "mom its 10:27, shouldn't you put us to bed?" I said "why, are you tired or something?" He said that yes he was ready to go to bed so could I come tuck him in. haha
Dallas stayed up a while longer till about 10 minutes ago he fell asleep on my bed doing a word search so I told him go get in his bed if he was going to sleep since he is too big for me to carry now.
So that was our day and now I am off to read my book for a bit although I really need to get to sleep soon since we have church in the morning bright and early.
BTW: It was an absolute GEORGOUS day today. Clear skies, sunshine and 60 degrees, motorcycles all out and making me jealous wishing I could have been out riding with my honey. I am so looking forward to summer getting here!
