Well it started snowing sometime around 5:30pm tonight.
We kept hearing it was going to but how does one believe something like that when it is 65 degrees and no clouds in the sky all week. But typical NV it does whatever it feels like when it feels like.
So anyways it started about 5:30, snowing for reals, it had been spitting before that but nothing that looked like it would amount to anything. 2.5 hours later we were at about 5 inches. We had put a ruler out on my moms patio table.
It is now 11:51 pm, it is still snowing like nobodies business.
I shoveled my driveway out when I got home around 9ish. it is now covered again. BUT, whenever it snows here, my driveway never gets shoveled and I end up having to 4wheel into my garage so this time I said I was getting a head start on the guys of the neighborhood. Not that it will probably do me any good but hey, I tried. LOL So now in the morning I will only have to shovel another 6 inches instead of 12 like everyone else will be shoveling. haha
I measured again about an hour ago and we were at 6 inches.
I was told that it is said that between midnight and 10am we will get 1 to 2 inches per hour. If that is the case we will for sure pass that 1 foot mark. So we shall see.
So I thought winter was going to be over pretty much but it tricked me and I was pretty mad at first but its here, and its still coming so may as well accept the fact and have some fun!
So, I wonder if we have church tomorrow or a sledding party.
I have heard a rumor that Pastor was out of town and not to get in till late tonight. If that was the case, Pastor did not come home because wasn't noone getting over Donner tonight.
So I suppose I will set my alarm and get up and get ready for church if I hear nothing. And as I said about NV, it does what it wants. So I suppose it could snow all night but be clear by morning and melting already, who really knows. Maybe someone will be extra gung ho in the morning and hook the plow up and plow the parking lot, so we can get up in it. Only time will tell.
So anyways here is a couple pictures I took of our winter wonder land. I have been trying to get Sonia to get out in it but she won't leave her house. So its just me and Dallas I guess. Haha

The next 4 pictures shown were taken at midnight, about 1.5 hours after the ones above. :))
