Mattocks Family News

Sonia has informed me that I am overdue for an update so here I am obeying.

We just got back from WCC. That was soooooo fun. I said before going that last years preaching was just so good and I don't know but a couple of the preachers this year so it will probably be different. And boy was I right. They had young preachers in the morning and the elderly at evening. LOL And do you know they were all soo good. My favorite was the fish message. LOL I told Travis I will remember messages by " The fish message, The Lion message and The snake message" LOL so me remembering 3 out of 7 is pretty good isn't it???? Haha Oh and who could forget the last one!!! "I'm walking out the door but I have one last thing to say" lol You would have had to been there. But anyways they were all wonderful and wonder of wonders I actually made it to all 7. I am usually so tired that I miss the first message at least one of the mornings.
So anyways we had a wonderful time.....
Came home Saturday, then church on Sunday and Travis left out that night. He is doing a whole lot of flying lately. Flew to Sac Wednesday then back to Portland Sunday night, Back here tomorrow night and out Sunday night and back on Tuesday night. So that is all very nice to have him home more often lately.

Parade is coming up. Then I will be heading out directly after to head to Washington for a couple weeks. That will be nice and not nice. It is supposed to snow here on Saturday. ALREADY!!!! EEKS! So I have this feeling going over the mountains won't be the funnest thing I've ever done so I am not looking forward to that very long drive. But once I get there I will be able to sit back in a nice heated house and watch the rain.

I can't really believe this year has gone by so fast. Seems like it was just started and here we are almost to the end......

Looking forward to fun times coming up. There is Thanksgiving next week. And we can't miss the midnight shopping at Legends that night. Then there is the parade. Then I am off to Washington to see family which is always nice. Then back home for Christmas and after that our New Years Party for me to make a nice fool of myself this year I have unfortunately agreed to. I'm quite scared if the truth be known. I hope I'm in a good mood that night. I think I will have to get me a few Sonic Iced Tea's that day, they usually are good for hyping me up, not sure whats in them.....Hahah Then in January I am going to Washington for a few days by myself to be with Travis. And in February our big family trip to Louisiana. Can't wait for that!!!!

So anyways that is a run down of whats going on....

Tomorrow Sonia, Mom and I are going to go Bowling and then Travis will be home. Whoohoo!!!! And I have to find time to straighten up the house sometime between now and then. Haha
