I have been very lacking in my updates......

So here is a quick update of nothing really.
Life is back to normal after all the Holiday's. Boring Boring Boring!
LOL
The boys went back to school on Monday and are back in their routine.

I have been trying not to eat out so much but last night Sonia made me go eat. Haha J/K
So, Mom, Sonia and I went to Applebees and it was good as it usually is. We are witnessing to a guy there and so it was just another opportunity for us to have conversation with him and get to know him more.

We had a wonderful Christmas and a very good New Years Eve Party at church. My mother somehow convinced me to play in a skit with her. I told her I only did it as a favor to her since no one else would do any skits really and that I hope she didn't think this was something to get used to because it really was a one time thing and she shouldn't ask me next year.

Pastor is teaching us about character traits this week and I have found out who I am. LOL Funny thing is that I already knew.
I think I am a little different than the average person.
I do actually see my faults and foibles. Mind you, I don't broadcast them to the world but I do know what they are. And I do try and work on most of them although not all. Some days, anyways. Haha
We had to take this test to see in which of the 4 categories we fell into, with everyone being a blend of 2 different ones. I definitely fell into the 2 that I knew I would although I would have guessed myself to be more of my second blend than my first.
The blends being, Sanguine, Choleric, Melancholy, Phlegmatic. Not sure if I spelled all that right.
So anyways being the blend that I am I have found the lesson to be interesting. And I did do my test and didn't throw it away like some. Haha
It is also interesting to see what others view you as too. Sonia and I did my mom last night and we viewed her differently than she viewed herself and even Sonia and I viewed her slightly different. It was all pretty much by a small margin. And I actually graded her the exact same number on each of her blend which was interesting to me.
But since most of you reading this probably know nothing about what I'm talking about you are bored and I am rambling.

I am flying up to Washington next week for a few days. Yay! Get to spend some time with my honey just the two of us.....
And Sonia gets to practice being a mom again..... ;-)

A distant cousin of mine in Louisiana is working on a family tree of the Burgess side of our family and I have been helping get all the info that I know from this end, which isn't a whole lot. But that has been fun and I love reading the family tree and seeing how everyone is all connected and all the family I have never even met. Most that are in Washington I have met although I don't know alot of them very well. Weird to have family that you don't really know and then to know that back in Louisiana are a ton more that you've never even met and they are not that far out on the family tree.

We are going to Louisiana in February, which I am looking forward to but not really visiting family except for my Uncle Earnest that I know of, he is my Paw-Paw's brother.
We will be staying with friends of my dads and of course now friends of ours too. They have been over here to visit us a few times in the past few years and so we decided its time to repay the visit.
We are going to spend a day in New Orleans. I've never been there although Dad and Mom have many times. We used to go to Louisiana every year when Josh and I were kids but Dad and Mom always left us with Uncle Earnest while they went to New Orleans for a couple days.
Dallas has already said he is anxious to try new food with Travis and Ana. LOL He is our brave eater. He tried smoked salmon the other day and loved it. YUCK! Coda and I will hope for bread at least so we don't starve. LOL But everyone knows I do not eat things that breath under water so I'm sure there will be something I like, course everything always goes with rice and I looove rice. Haha

Well anyways my back is tired so I am off to find other interests and maybe some lunch soon before I am tempted to run down to Subway.
