Good Morning everyone!!!!!!!!
Another week is here, so far so good. Haha all 9 hours into it.
We had a good weekend even though my honey didn't get to come home. He stayed in Washington to help Uncle Billy with his duct work so on Friday I texted mom and said " Hey lets surprise the boys and take them to Marine World tomorrow" Well if you know my mom you know she was all for that. We decided we weren't going to sit at home all weekend being lonely and missing our hubby's. So I got on Hotwire and found a hotel. Got a really good deal, Crowne Plaza for $58! Way Cool! Then was able to find a coupon online for discount tickets and ended up getting them for almost $30 cheaper than what I would have paid at the gate, I found a credit union VIP discount I was able to use. So that was really good!
So we got on the road at 5pm after getting gas, and Sonic tea. :)
We didn't tell the boys where we were going, they just saw when we pulled in the parking lot Saturday morning, they were pumped!!!! They thought it was a good surprise and kept telling me thank you for bringing them. :) and they were both very good the whole weekend, only a little bit of fighting. Haha, Sometimes they just decide they don't like each other, but I think they liked each other most of the weekend this time so that was good.
We had a great time catching all the shows at the park, the boys aren't much into rollercoasters and I can take them or leave them. Dallas went on the big inner-tube by himself, it wasn't that warm that day and so none of the rest of us were interested in getting wet but he went and just thought it was a blast and he didn't even really get too awfully wet. Haha Then we all went on the wooden roller coaster called Roar. Bad idea! UGH! it was awful but of course of all people Dallas loved it. And then to top it off, they had 2 trains running, so we get in ours and the guy says he's going to have a screaming contest between our train and the next train that comes through, whoever wins gets a second ride. So everyone screams and off we go on the worst ride of my life, all my bobby pins were coming out, my brain was trying to get out through my ears my tailbone was about to be cracked and we jerk back in the station and find out "OH Yay we won, here we go again!!!!" By the time I got off that thing I decided that was my first and last ride of the day because my churro from earlier was in my throat, my 5 cokes of the day was swished so much it had turned into a coke slushy ( we had gotten this free refill cup to share so we drank coke all day) my bobby pins were just sticking out everywhere, my head was pounding along with the rest of my body. And so after that great experience I have decided that what I remember as a teenager of riding those things was somehow different, I remember riding them over and over with my hands up screaming my head off, this time I just had to hold my head and hope my insides stayed inside. I'm not that old but after that experience I felt ancient. LOL JK
Then we went to the last show of the day, the dolphin show. It was a special show since it was the last one of the day. We get there and sit down in some great seats, we asked the worker if we were in a splash zone and he said no we should be fine and that it's the 80's show and so they do things differently. So we are all good, its starting to get a little cold by now as its 7pm and it had never gotten hot that day to begin with. So the show starts and is really good, we are at one part of the show, the dolphins have left and its just two people on the stage and they are talking and she tells him she is just so excited, her favorite part of the show is here! And about that time 5 dolphin tails come up and if you've ever been to one of those shows you know what a dolphins tail can do and needless to say that guy had tricked us and I got soaked!!!!!!!!!!!! I jumped up and took off running and so only got the first splash but it was as big as a tidal wave. Haha I was able to miss the other splashes since they thought it was so funny they did it a few times..
Well luckily we were ready to leave by then anyways so we headed to the car. Got going around 8, had to get gas, donuts, and dinner. lol
Got home around 11:30pm and crashed.
Had a good day on Sunday. After church Sunday morning we went over to Damonte Ranch. They are opening a new Genghis Grill over there and so they had sent out special invitations to Genghis members for free food, I think it was kind of a training thing for the employees before they officially opened which is today. It was crazy over there, Josh, Ana, Mom, Sonia, the boys and I all went, we waited about 40 minutes which Travis said we were crazy but hey free food, free drinks, and at my favorite place even if its noone elses. Haha It was great!
Had an awesome service last night. And then stayed after talking and making plans for our Anniversary services.
We are all very excited about that, well some are anyways. I am excited but thinking about it makes my stomach hurt so I just try not to think about it. Hehe!
After that we went and ate at Applebees, just what I needed! Sonia and my mom are a bad influence on me....LOL Yup it's all thier fault....
Sonia came home with us and her and I stayed up till about 2am and then I got up at 7am and I though Oh it will be fine, Zaylee will get here and go back to sleep like she normally does and I will go lay down till the boys have to get up. Well Zaylee had other plans for her Auntie. She came in screaming her head off, which woke the boys up and so Coda comes out to comfort his lil baby, Dallas came out and looked at us and then went back to bed. Haha So I fixed her a bottle and she was all better. So after that we were all awake and Coda decided they may as well get to school early so he went and made Dallas get out of bed and get ready much to Dallas aggravation. So then they left around 8:20 and Zaylee was ready for a nap by then so I put her in her bed and decide I will go lay down for a bit, but I lay down and Travis calls, he had been on the road doing something for work so I talked to him for awhile. After getting off the phone with him I remembered I was supposed to be making a phone call a long time ago so took care of that and then had to check some things online for Travis and so by the time all that was done I figured it was pointless to go to sleep now so here I am. LOL
And so my day is off and running. Picking up Maw-Maw at the airport this afternoon then meeting mom for lunch and run some errands, have a meeting at 4 and then we will be going to Josh and Ana's for dinner. What a busy day!
The rest of my week isn't quite like today but I think I have something everyday and of course my lil Zaylee gets to come spend time with me. I will miss her when I'm gone in Oct, :( I've gotten so used to having her every day.
I will post pictures of our little weekend getaway soon. We just used mom's camera so I will have to get them from her today if I can......
