Mattocks Family News

Its a beautiful day out.
Last week I thought we had skipped fall and went right into winter. But looks like it was just a warning that winter will be here soon. :(

So today we are warming back up but unfortunately I am leaving and heading for Washington tomorrow.
By the time I get home it will be even closer to the cold cold days. Oh well I guess.....

Today I should have started packing but I'm so tired I haven't felt like doing anything.

Dad fixed dinner today for all of us. Roast and rice and gravy. It was super yum, mom had got this new seasoning to try and so it had a new and improved flavor. YUM!

Trav is getting all his clothes together for WCC since he won't be back home before we head over there. I am coming home real quick before then to unpack and repack so I don't have to pack for both trips.
Hopefully I will lose some weight while I'm gone so I can fit in some of my clothes from the other closet. Ha, fat chance of that happening when all I do is eat while I'm there. humph.....

I am going to miss my baby Zaylee, mom is going to be keeping her while I'm gone and so all my progress of getting her to say Auntie will be lost in her saying Nana. :(

The boys are all excited about flying this time. Flights were so cheap that I said no sense in wasting a whole day driving when we can just fly for the same price so that's what we are doing and we all glad for that. And then we won't be going again this year....

Travis left a car for us at the airport, we are going to stay with Uncle Billy and Aunt Helen for the first week and then head over to Grandma's for the other 2 weeks we are there..
I am hoping it doesn't rain every day, every day so the boys don't drive us all completely crazy with no outside time since they are used to going outside all the time. It rained here 2 days in a row last week and Coda said he wondered if they were going to cancel school cuz of all the rain. Haha Much to his disappointment the rain didn't affect going to school. :)
