Mattocks Family News

Friday the boys got out of school early so we headed to town for his birthday. First stop was Toys "R" Us for a birthday present. I gave him his budget he was allowed to spend. After much deliberation and a walk over the whole store he finally decided to add his birthday money he had already received to his budget and he settled on a ping pong table. We then met Josh, Ana, and Mom at Dallas' choice of Macaroni Grill. We had been seated about 20 minutes and still no one had acknowledged us so mom went and asked the hostess if we had a waitress and they all came running, I guess there had been a lack of communication somewhere and no one knew we were thier table. So they just started bringing out the food to make up for it, they had us pick 3 appetizers and bread and water just kept coming and then a big dessert for Dallas, needless to say we all had to be rolled out. Haha
Uncle Josh was so kind as to come over and put together the ping pong table. Whew that took forever, they never make those things easy!


Saturday we were up bright and early to take mom to the airport and then off to meet Josh at a Craigslist User's house. :) I finally found a freezer so Josh met me to load it up on my trailer for me. From there I had to go straight to the church for a meeting and then came home and had the fun job of backing that trailer into the garage because obviously I couldn't unload the freezer so there it sits until Trav comes home to unload it. UGH! After getting the trailer all backed in we went and met Sonia at the Mexican restaurant down the road for some yummy chips, salsa and chimichanga. Then to settle the food in our stomach we needed some Sonic ice cream. LOL After that Sonia came and hung out at the house until about midnight or so.


Yesterday was Super Sunday at our church. We just have one service and then food and fun. It was a memorable Sunday! We all had a wonderful time....


Travis had to work on Saturday so he wasn't able to fly in until Sunday morning so the boys and I got up bright and early and were at the airport by 8:30am to pick him up and then we headed to church.
After a great service we ate some good food and then everyone went out to play some ball.
Had to have Trav to the airport by 6:30pm to fly back to Washington...:-p


Today I met Anabel and got Zaylee, she's going to spend the night with us tonight so her mom could run some errands today and tomorrow. We came home and I pulled the trailer out because the freezer was defrosting onto the trailer and I figured by Saturday it was going to be a mess so I took it out got some vinegar and soap and scrubbed it down inside and out. I really don't like people watching me try and maneuver that trailer so I waited and waited for the neighbor guys to quit working outside so I could put the trailer away but my neighbor right next door decided he wanted to be out all night I guess. HUMPH! so I had to do it with him outside and the neighbor kids too watching me as I talk my way backwards. Wheel goes right, trailer goes left Janaya, wheel goes left, trailer goes right. Whew! I did it and got it back in there once again and over to the side as far as I could because I hate parking my car outside. So now there it sits once again although clean this time to await the arrival of my honey to come and put it where it belongs so that I can fill it up nice and tight. :)
