Mattocks Family News

We have arrived in Ventura, CA. All ready for getting everything up and running. We get to sleep in tomorrow since we can't get into the park to do anything until noon. Yay!!!
Today seemed like a forever more long drive! Ugh!! Coda must have asked 10 times "how much longer?" lol
Dallas is still sickly. We are praying he is better by check in on Monday. With this sickness it is lasting about 5-6 days with the kids, he is on about day 3 so we are praying for improvement tomorrow. He is taking the sickness differently than Coda, I think he tends to take after his Nana in sickness. Lol
I was actually able to sleep quite a bit on the way here today which was good since I only slept a out 3 hours last night. So now everyone is asleep while I am awake.
These first 2 night are definitely not going to be the most comfy. To save money we got a king room as it was cheaper than a double. Usually there isnt any difference but anyways there is here soooooo you know what that means. Coda says he can't sleep on the couch with Dallas or he might get sick again. Not that that was an option anyways since its a small couch. He also said he couldn't sleep on the floor because he was sure there was floor bugs probably. So guess where he is. Yes we have 3 in a bed!! And I can barely sleep with 2 in a bed so just imagine how great of a night it will be. Just having them in the same room while I'm sleeping is bad enough with one of them grinding their teeth and the other talking in his sleep. Oh the joys of having children. Lol. So far all is silent except for the very loud A/C. Travis asked if he had to listen to it all night. I told him no he wouldn't, just wait about 2 minutes and he wouldn't hear a thing. Sure enough I'm pretty sure he doesn't hear it anymore. Lol
Well I heard all kinds of talk about breakfast in the lobby in the morning. They serve a nice breakfast down there and so I have no doubt I'll be woken up long before I'm ready to be so I'd better shut my eyes and try for sleep in my rather firm bed with 2 other people. :-p

And to my wonderful dad I wish you a happy Fathers day and all my love. I truly think your the best dad in the world and if I had had to pick a dad you would have definitely been my choice. I love you more than you know.

And a Happy Fathers day to my other dad. I love you and you truly are a great father in law to me. You Have always showed your love to me even though I'm mostly only lovable to my family that has no choice. Haha I can truly say that you made me feel accepted and loved from the day Trav and I got married.

To my Grandpa I send you my love. I wish I was going to be there to see you on Monday. You are very special to me and I couldn't ask for a better Grandpa. I love you!

To Paw-Paw I wish we saw each other more. I love you even though I don't get to tell you nearly enough. I'll always know as you always used to tell me when I was a kid that I'm your favorite oldest granddaughter. I pray for you on that truck that God keeps you safe. It's about time you retired don't you think? Time to relax, quit takin care of everyone and come visit me. :-) Love you!
