Mattocks Family News

Today I surprised everyone. If you've ever tried to surprise my mom you will know its not an easy thing to do but I succeeded!! LOL
So about a week ago Mom and I were talking and saying we wished Gram could come visit, But gram doesn't like to leave gramps and gramps is very much UNinterested in our warm and beautiful weather. Haha So I figured she would say no, but I talked Gramps into letting her come and he said she could only come if I kept it a surprise. And so for a week we kept the secret and today I invited mom to go eat with Sonia and I, So Sonia and I picked up Gram at the airport, I had invited Anabel to eat too, had to bribe her just to get her there but I got everyone there. Well Mom got there first and got a table for 3 thinking that's all there was, so we texted, oH Anabel is coming so she asks to be moved to a table for 4. LOL So we got there and all squished in because we didn't want to have to move again. Haha, She was so surprised.
Zaylee came home with me tonight after church to spend the night and she is just scrounging around in all my food places that she somehow just knows where to look, We get here and she heads straight for the pantry, My pantry door doesn't latch all the way closed and so she knows she can get in it. First she found some veggie chips and ate some, dumped some, squished some, sat on some. Haha, so we cleaned up that mess and then she heads for the snack drawer and my biggest drawer is the bottom one and that's where I keep all the boys snacks, I don't know how she remembers that's the drawer every time she comes over, so she digs around in that for awhile, got a few things out but then I guess decided she wasn't really all that hungry after all so put it all back and came and told me she was ready for bed so she is now in sleepy land.
