We are back from our fabulous vacation! I adore going on vacation and no I was not ready to get home, I could vacation for a month. Dad says a 7 day cruise is good for him, mom and I had to disagree and would so love to do a 21 day cruise to the Mediterranean (My dream vacation!) Maybe for our 15th wedding anniversary. :-)

Anyways we are back into the swing of things. Kids are back in school, everything is unpacked, put away and cleaned up. But then with the Gem of a husband that I had all that was done within an hour of getting home on Monday. hehe
My dad says that I better be thankful I got the husband I did because there aren't any more like him out there. I have to agree. :-) I just love him to death and he is so good to me.

Happy Birthday to the most wonderful man!!
Today is Trav's birthday. We went to lunch, just the two of us. I am so enjoying these couple months we've had with him home. After living with him working out of town for 4 years its been blissful to have him home every day.

On our vacation we had "a ton of fun"
I am currently working on a slide show of our 2000 pictures. :-) I'll have to try and condense so that you are not watching my pictures for an hour huh. LOL

A brief summary of our vacation: (Made possible by our wonderful parents)
So we left Reno on Friday the 15th, Flew to Orlando, FL... Got there at 8:45pm I think it was. Walked out of the airport with all our luggage following who we though was our taxi/van driver, I must say I was quite speechless when he led us to a limo. He then drove us to our Condo with a room for everyone. Way Cool! We ordered pizza delivered since by then it was nearing 11:00pm and we didn't have a car and weren't sure where anything was and had been on a plane all day. Now we wouldn't have starved because prior to our trip everyone had been dieting and so between Josh and Anabel and us we had backpacks loaded with junk food, but junk food can only satisfy for so long before you feel the need for something real although if you ask mom she would say pizza isn't real food because she doesn't really like pizza, isn't that just the strangest thing you've ever heard? But then she says I'm more weird because chocolate makes me go "Blech!"
So anyways: Saturday we all got up bright and early and headed to Universal Studios. We bought a double park ticket with Fast-pass for Universal Studios and Universal Adventure, so we had front of the line privileges and breezed through every ride on both parks on a Saturday in a park full of people. Definitely the way to go!
Sunday we were all up early again and ready to get back in our limo for the drive to our ship and home for the next week.
I think one of my favorite things about cruising is dinner, we go to the dining room for dinner every night. There is the buffet always but that's for lunch. A fancy dinner every night with the most amazing waiters is my kind of thing...
Monday was an at sea day.
Tuesday we were in Labadee, Haiti
Wednesday we were in Falmouth, Jamaica! My favorite!! We climbed the Dunn's River Falls. It is like nothing you've ever experienced before!
Thursday we were in Georgetown, Grand Cayman
Friday we were in Cozumel, Mexico. We left the kids on the ship there and we all rented moped and went around the whole island. Fun Fun!
Saturday we were at sea again
Sunday we were sad to see the Florida coastline come back into view and we had to disembark from our cruise.
Monday was the long flight back home.
Today is Thursday and my body still thinks I'm on Eastern Time although I am very slowly getting back to our time schedule.

I guess my brief summery turned into a chapter. LOL

We are now getting ready to go meet mom, she is taking us out for Trav's birthday dinner to Texas Roadhouse. YUM! I think I will just order a basket of bread. haha
