Mattocks Family News

Our morning started at about 7:00am. At least that's when mine started. I love this house we are staying at, it's three stories with our bedroom on the first floor, living room and kitchen on floor 2 and parents and siblings rooms on floor 3. With the kids sleeping in the living room, so that makes for me being able to sleep in longer than the rest although I think it was around 7 that everyone slept till, at least they were quiet if they did get up earlier. We were crashed after the long flight not to mention the 3 hour time difference we have entered.
So we got up and got ready and were all out the door by 8 headed to Universal Studios. Spent the day at Universal Adventure and Universal Studios. By about 7 we were all ready to eat, so we headed to Bubba Gumps, after finding out the wait time we decided, lets save time and money and grab some thing at the food court, Panda Express for most of us! Yum! We than caught a taxi back to our Condo and we all were ready for showers and to get off our feet. I couldn't believe that I wore tennis shoes and my feet still hurt, but walking around all day long without stopping but to sit in a ride for a bit makes for sore feet and tired bodies. After everyone showered we decided to do a lil laundry which is pretty cool we can do laundry, usually when we go on a cruise it's 10 days without doing laundry so was a kind of bonus. One thing, the washer and dryer is in our room, directly next to our bed. Lol a load of jeans are currently drying. Everyone is fast asleep in their beds...... Trav is reading and here I am :-) just glad we started early..;-)
So we had a wonderful day and totally enjoyed ourselves and I'm so glad for any and all excersize I can get while on vacation..
I really can't believe it is already the end of Saturday.. Why do vacations fly so fast... Ugh!
The boys are having a blast and so ready to get on that ship tomorrow, but then they aren't the only ones, I think we are all ready. I packed everything up tonight, they like getting stuff done in the morning, I like getting stuff done at night and sleeping in.. Lol so everything is ready to go, I just have to get myself ready in the morning, I have everyone's clothes set out for them and all our stuff packed up.
I will miss this house, it was fun staying all together in a condo, we've never done that before...
