Saturday February 27th

Saturday morning Vicki made pancakes for us and we had a great time visiting. Then it was time to get ready for church and now we are off to church in Lake Charles. 

Bro. Bow preached an awesome message as always!

We were in a convention center with theater seating and so when it came time to shout everyone just shouted wherever they could find an open space so the whole platform filled and the area below where an orchestra would normally be filled and we just had a Holyghost shout down.  

After the service there was a crawfish boil up in one of the banquet rooms. We stepped off the elevator and.... Oh the smell...... 

These ladies decided I was very deprived by never having tasted crawfish and put the pressure on so strong that I finally gave in and then almost lost my pancakes from breakfast. I couldn't really tell you what they tasted like because when I bit down it was all by feel that sent my gag reflexes into overdrive...

After the banquet we met back up with the Gattes and went shopping to kill some time as we were waiting for my parents to get into Houston and then they met us at Pappadaeux. More seafood. Thank God for good ole southern red beans, rice and sausage. My favorite!

All of us minus Kaitlynn and TJ had already left. We sure love these people. Some of the best people you will ever meet. 

Trav drove Fralans corvette and now I think he wants one lol. As you can see the boys sure are hoping he wants one haha. Especially Dallas who is about to start driving, he thinks it'd be a great car to learn with. Funny huh.... 

After leaving there we headed back to Houston to return rental cars and head to our hotel and get ready for the cruise embarkation Sunday!!
