Hello Again

Well it has been awhile. I apologize to all for my laziness in my updating. I will do better. I get on here and am like, "oh I don't feel like writing" But here I am and I don't especially feel like writing but I am going to anyways.
So as far as my singing night last Friday. It went well enough, my voice still has this scratchy feeling but I'm beginning to think that is due to me not singing much anymore. I remember when we lived in Chehalis I sang all the time. In fact every service and then during the week we always went to the church. My singing instructor there always told me the more that I sing the higher I could sing, it is okay to sound like Minnie Mouse if you are doing it on a continual basis because eventually you will be able to sound like Mariah Carey and I was almost there until I moved here and they all sing like Louie Armstrong and so I now have this scratchy feeling in my voice. Ha-ha Just kidding but really we do sing so terribly low sometimes I just want to scream. But back to Friday night. I sang and was told by everyone that it was wonderful and so I am glad of that. I was not recorded this year but my mom and others did take pictures. I will have to get one and post on here. It was great fun. I do adore singing and it was quite cool to stand up on the stage next to a Soldier lady, she had to stand at attention at all times and she led the Pledge of Allegiance and so I did my best to stand at attention too. lol She was very nice and I had a nice time talking to her while I was there. And then at our table sat my good friend Amy who I think is so cool and love her to pieces. Then another couple that sat at our table, he was a fire fighter and just the funniest guy ever and kept us laughing all night and his wife was a real estate agent. There was a silent auction and I bid on a ton of things until Travis was scared I was going to win it all and we would leave with no money but alas I was outbid on everything and won nothing. So that was my last Friday night.
As far as other things going on.
Okay for a funny story: Last week the boys were out back playing in the hose and Tyler was sitting in front of the sliding glass doors in the dinning room watching them and they were spraying the window at him and he was just loving it. So Travis got home and I was talking to him in a different room and thought " man Tyler is being so good" so went to check on him and my sliding door has obviously a problem as the entire dinning room was a puddle of water and Tyler is on his hands and knees in it by the door just laughing and splashing and thinking a pool indoors in the dinning room is just the coolest thing ever. So I had to take him out and he was not happy with me at all needless to say. lol Lucky it hadn't reached the carpet yet as it was making its way to the kitchen first. lol
I can't wait till next week, we are leaving on our trip and it is going to be such great fun.
Tomorrow I will not have Tyler as they are going out of town and so I have told the boys that I will take them to the sprinkler park. It is quite the cool park and so they are all syked about that.
Saturday we are going to the Rodeo, Jaci and her husband and the Walkers are going with us. The boys are all excited about that too and it will be great fun. I tried to get my parents to go but my dad says he doesn't like Rodeo's, new news to me as he always took us to the Rodeo when we were kids. Guess that's what dad's do is take their kids places even when they don't like those places huh.
I really have so much to do before we leave. I still have to find some motorcycle luggage that doesn't cost a fortune since I cannot order it because we have waited to long. Then I have to get some groceries before Maw-Maw gets here so they don't starve while I am gone. Smog check on the car and new tabs so she doesn't get a ticket while driving my car while I am gone. Cleaning my house before everyone gets here next week. UGH UGH UGH just a ton of stuff to do. And then of course the packing before we leave.
Tonight Travis has to go get his bike registered and then he is meeting me at the Farmer's Market. All the girls are going to be there to as far as I know. It will be great fun I am sure.
Tomorrow night is youth. I believe we are going to Wild Island.
Bro. Neumann's parents will be here tomorrow, they are staying for a week or more, not sure exactly. It is nice that his parents come to visit him a few times throughout the year. His dad was just here to see him a last month I think it was and then his mom was here awhile before that. Very nice and we love seeing them too.
It is pretty quiet here right now as the boys are across the street at the neighbors house and so it is just me and Tyler but he is getting tired and so therefore a bit fussy and wanting my attention so I better close this chapter for now.
Goodbye and God Bless you all.
P.S. Is this big enough for you Sonia???? LOL
