Just got off the phone with Trav, he is doing well and good. Grandma is feeding him well too. :) Has dinner for him every night and just taking care of him.
Dad on his way home but then they are off again so not sure if I will see him. It was thier anniversary on the 15th so he is home to take mom on a get away. Of course I am sure they will get away on the bikes as it is very nice here and he needs to recharge with some sun shine I'm sure.
Travis said its another rainy day there. UGH, how do they stand it! I guess I did for 23 years and you just walk through the rain as if it's not raining. If it rains here, the electric goes out, noone ventures out unless they just have to and you park as close to the door as possible and make a mad dash. I remember living in Wa. you just go on with life as if nothing is going on. Haha Guess I better prepare myself since I will be there for a bit. I am in a dilemma of what to pack. Probably don't want to bring my sandals and probably better find my coat. Last time I was there I left here not thinking about where I was going and didn't bring the proper necessities and froze to death and every one thought it was so nice out that they were having a picnic at the park and I felt like being in front of a roaring fire I was so cold and they were all going on as if it was the nicest day. hmmmm ;)
I kind of toasted myself a bit too much yesterday and so stayed out of the sun today. Plus it is very windy out today, I think it was only in the low 80's or so but with the clouds that the wind blew in and the wind it felt cooler.
Bought the boys some water guns today, they thought that was pretty cool and made sure to have a water fight when they got home. Dallas has a water day at school tomorrow so he had been begging for a water gun to take with him so being the spoiling mother that I am I made sure to get what they asked for. Poor kids, they get spoiled just too much.
I fixed them some mac-n-cheese for dinner and I had a Jiffy Extra Crunchy Peanut Butter and Grandma's homemade Apple Butter sandwich. Yum
Lately I have been having these PB&J cravings. I think it has a little to do with, Tyler brings a sandwich like that every day he comes and it just looks so good. I even do it up just like his and cut the crust off, then you can just bite into that so soft bread and mmm-mmm-mmm. :)
Travis is working hard and he and my dad are working on thier A Team reputation again like they had up at NorthStar. That is what every one called them up at NorthStar. They just work so well together. Travis said it is because my dad taught him alot of what he knows and so they just think alike and work alike. Down below are a couple pictures of Travis, when he and my dad put some pipe in on Saturday, just the two of them doing it when it was said by others that it needed at least 5 men plus more hours and they did it by thier self in way less time.
So that is about all that is swinging here in the Mattocks Family
And yes, I am bragging on them. But I have that right, don't I? LOL The 2 men I love the most. :)
