Mattocks Family News

This is a very busy week!
I watch Ty and Kody every day this week 9-4. Poor lil Kody was sick today with a fever and just laid on the couch all day. Its so hard to see little guys sick like that.

So I watched the boys yesterday then jetted to the bank and dry cleaners and then we had to finish selling our last box of candy bars and get some laundry washed and go to the library, can't ever run out of books to read!
Watched Kody today and then over to help mom with a few things.
Tomorrow back to Christi's and then as soon as I leave there have to run get the boys and take them to get hair cuts and get all their candy bar money to the bank to exchange all the quarters and dollar bills for some larger bills so they aren't carrying around this big wad of $1 bills. haha then there is church.
Thursday to Christi's for the day of course and then it's time to get the suitcases down. Yikes! thats when the fun part begins. The boys have to have towels and clothes enough for a week!! I hope we have enough of it all. So better start Thursday so that we can go to the store on Friday evening if we need any extra things. I know I have to buy them a sleeping bag for sure.

They did so good selling this year, they sold 1200 candy bars!!! Making them earn thier own way to camp I think makes them enjoy it all that much more!

So Friday I will of course be at Christi's watching her little ones while she is enjoying herself in the Caribbean! (I'm Jealous!) Then I am off home again to hopefully finish packing and then to get Trav at the airport.

And then Saturday we are off! Off for the boys to have great fun not sleeping! Ha
I am most excited about Travis and I being together for a whole week more than anything as you know if you've read previous postings. :)

Today was an extremely just fabulously beautiful day! We passed 90 degrees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went and just sat outside this afternoon while I was at Christi's house just absolutely loving being warm and not cold. I am so tired of wearing a coat! And now I can finally leave the house without one. I am so happy! But I do still carry one to church because, well we won't even get me started on that, lets just say I ought to bring a blanket along with my coat most of the time in winter and usually my coat will suffice in summer. But anyways............
So I am just so thrilled that summer is finally here, and it can just keep right on being 90 degrees every day and I will be happy as a lark! Although Travis says he wants to go riding, I told him riding in 90 degree weather, I don't know..... That will make my helmet and boots all sweaty and I don't like that idea, so he said we will just have to go early in the morning. This morning it was 67 at 8:45am so we could probably ride from like 9am-noon.

Well time for me to go to bed, no more 2am bedtimes for me when I have to get up early now.
