We all had a wonderful time.
It is so weird for me, I dread going and really don't want to go but after the first couple days then I'm fine and by the time its over I wish it was lasting longer. :) I'm weird I know.....
The boys dorm. They are putting up walls. They separate the Jr's from the Sr's and then also in the boys dorm there is the basketball court.
It took help from all from the biggest to the smallest and even at one point I was asked to help. EEKS!!!! LOL
Below you will see that we didn't let the guys slack in anything, we all had to do our part to get things going. :)
Our Pastor amazes them all with his fruit carving abilities and creativeness. Everyone always wants to know who does it all and they usually do not guess him. He does an awesome job. And he is fun to work with.
Bro Dearro & Travis (Sorry guys, I probably spelled your name wrong! :0)
Everything is done buffet style
For drinks we had coffee, tea, strawberry lemonade, water and a variety of soda's with Dr. Pepper being the most popular of the soda's
Our dessert bar had a variety. We had 4 dif kinds of bunt cakes, carrot cake, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered licorice, turtles, cheese cake and some other things too I think.
The salad bar consisted of just about everything one can find on any salad bar, we even added things that were said to be missing once it was brought to our attention, like toasted coconut, Chinese noodles and cottage cheese. We had ham, turkey, corn, peas, snap beans, beats, sunflower seeds, spinach and just too many more to list......
On our Mexican night Bro. Neumann did an aquarium, it was all out of vegetables and fruit.
One night Coda sang in the choir.
The choir did so awesome every night
The services were great with Bro. Frazier in the morning's and Bro. Lambeth in the evenings.
I think I usually saw the boys at least once a day. They were just so busy and having a wonderful time.
I guess the only thing that would make it better is if we had a trailer to stay in so we didn't have to stay in a hotel, that way we could be right there all the time.
I have always had my hero's I guess you could call them. I always think to myself that I really wish I could be as sweet as Sis. Patsy Myers,(that will take a life time I'm sure) Like Sis. Sissel, she is such a good listener and she makes you feel comfortable enough to tell her anything (Won't that one take a miracle for me?) as beautiful as Sis. Stewart,( that will never happen but I think she's just beautiful) And now I've added another to my list. Sis. Dearro, If I could be just half as outgoing, half as loved and liked as she is I would be happy. (To achieve that would take quite a few miracles in my life no doubt, Perhaps when I'm 50 I might make it half way to half. LOL) Love ya Sis Dearro!!!!
So now I am home and back to what is my life. I am trying to get back into the mode of going to the gym every day, and dieting again. It's not working out too well for me though. :~p
I am looking forward to this weekend. Trav will be home Friday night and is staying till Tuesday night. We plan to hopefully spend at least one day out in the hills with our dirt bikes.
I am glad to be back home where it is finally warm! Was in the 90's today, my favorite temp. I stayed outside till about 8 tonight till it got to cold for me, Sonia said it was still 80 but it felt about 60 to me so I came inside and then finally made the boys come in about 9:30 from playing basketball because I figured Riley, the little toddler next door was probably being kept awake by all thier noise.
I think I almost have all our camp laundry done, maybe 2 loads left. 7 days of clothes for 4 people including towels and 2 church services each day too makes for one big pile when we got home, not to mention the dry cleaning I had to take in and I only took half!!!!!

Hi SIS. Janaya, First off I want to say how awesome of a job you all did. You guys never get enough credit! Next year I am going to make sure they get pictures of you hard workers in the yearbook!
