Friday, February 26th

We arrived in Jennings on Wednesday Feb. 24th. We were there to see our good friends and also to attend Youth Week in Lake Charles. So on Thursday evening the boys went over to the PK night with Bro. Townleys son. They really enjoyed theirselves and made new friends and have now decided they must go every year. 

On Friday evening there was a reenactment called Blood Bought. Bro. Hair wrote it himself and it was absolutely phenomenal. There was much singing throughout and some games at the beginning. 

This night they also honored 5 elders

Conqueres Quartet sang throughout the night. 

They did an awesome job and I know a lot of hard work was involved. We really enjoyed our time there and the fellowship afterwards and meeting and making new friends. Southern people are like no one else. Their friendliness and hospitality is outstanding and memorable. I do hope we can make it an annual trip as it was very much enjoyed by us all.
