Wow what a weekend.
Dakota has been so sick. And then in the midst of being sick he had a terrible allergic reaction to what we later figured out had to have been some ibuprofen I had given him. So he's now on antibiotics and mostly irritable and grouchy as he can be.

Saturday I had this wonderfully bright idea to take all my friendship bread starters and make snicker-doodle cookies out of them rather than throw them away like I normally do. Dumb idea!
I have cookies everywhere!!!!
I took Josh and Anabel a gallon size freezer bag half full, Travis took that same amount back to Washington with him and we still have cookies cookies cookies!!!
I walk by the counter and my hand reaches for another and another. Travis says "make sure you pack some for the ride to CA." Oh boy, so much for my diet that wasn't really existing anyways.  LOL

The weather is finally back where it ought to be! Today was 90! Now that's more like it, I was actually able to be warm for a change until the boys and I went to eat and we made sure we requested to sit outside because they had that place so cold you would have thought it was an fridge you were sitting in. Ridiculous!

I've been trying to make sure the boys have all they need for camp. Coda has grown out of all his shoes. :-p So off we go to Legends, do you think he likes any there? Finally mom has to say, "get what you get and don't throw a fit" and showed him 3 pair from the clearance rack and then decided the ones that were 50% off were the best ones and that took care of that. Over an hour after getting there and a visit to every store that carried shoes in the whole of Legends. LOL
I'm not sure I've ever met pickier kids in my life. I suppose it's termed better as spoiling but then I've been blessed enough to be able to and so we won't even get in that discussion, I pray some day they will be able to do the same with thier own kids.
:-)

So now we are back home and I am trying to get all my pictures off my computer since it is overloaded and I can't do anything anymore because I'm out of memory, so I got some jump drives and I never thought this could be such a long process, goodness! One picture file I have says it's going to take 20 hours to transfer!

Saturday we had to laugh at our self as we are driving down Pyramid Hwy after being in town all day and my husband looks at me and says "We forgot the hose was on". Although we won't laugh come our water bill, what else does one do but just laugh at a time like that. Haha,  Since we've had the pool the boys have splashed so much and all that, that it needed a little topping off.
So we were going to just run a few errands and Trav stuck the hose in the pool and off we went. 8 hours later we remembered what we had left going at home! Yiksers!!!!!!!!!!
Well luckily our neighbor on the pool side of the house is very observant.... So he happened to notice we had a slight flooding problem which was heading out of our property line and straight towards his and coming from the back yard and so after determining we weren't home he took care of it. LOL So thank God for observant neighbors. HAHA Although it had taken about 6 hours for it to become an observatory sight. And so after filling a 3200 gallon pool, sprinklers running every other day twice a day, and a 6 hour forgotten hose we have an extremely watered back yard, an overflowing pool and when we get our water bill we will have need of smelling salts for this lady as she will keel over from the shock of it I'm sure.

Well I better get going and start cleaning house. We fried french fries Saturday night and Sunday night and so I have some grease that needs filtered into a jug and clean up that mess lest I'm tempted to fry some more although as badly as I've eaten today I may as well huh. Tomorrow is a new day, right? LOL
